PAVE FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions - general

The Quality Incentives Program (QIP) is a DDS initiative designed to improve service outcomes through improved service quality. It is a voluntary scheme that allows participating service providers that meet or exceed certain quality indicators to be eligible for incentive payments. There are six areas on which the QIP will focus. One of these is Informed Choice and User and Family Satisfaction. As part of the PAVE project, CCLN has been asked to propose the indicators and measures related to Informed Choice and User and Family Satisfaction as well as the procedure by which these incentives might be implemented.

The project began towards the end of December 2022. The funding is available until the end of June 2027.

The PAVE service outcomes project is funded by the State of California and managed through the Department of Developmental Services.
